Writer's picture: Gees ArenaGees Arena

Days ago, I did a thorough research and I was wondering why some promising artists whom I believe got all it takes to make it to the top still finding it difficult to register even a played song. As I continue my research I felt more and more uncomfortable and helpless infact I was hopeless about this topic. Minutes later a bright idea pop in to my head. I finally decided to do a close background investigations on these 7 artists; it's no doubt they all posses the raw talents. This article is not intended to hurt anyone intentionally rather It's just a mare facts that will guide you out of your mischief. I'm not a prophet nor a soothsayer. The truth be told, I never wanted to publish this but I felt I will do you guys more harm if I hide the truth from y'all moreover I have to do my duties and tasks to the best of my abilities- no matter what. You guys might think that your art and talent, as musicians, is not good enough, that's why you are still down the pecking order or maybe y'all think there are so many of musicians out there competing therefore the industry is tough to succeed in. So your think CIC, CHRISTOPH or NATIF that make it to the top today's are using charms lol? No these guys are actually putting up more works and finding their way through while you still finding it difficult to register a hitz song after all these years.

7. Milkyy T

The Swag pro frontman is absolutely no doubt one of Liberia finest promising trapco star. His abilities to kill the beat can be compared to that of rap guru Christoph. The question is why is he still crawling as an artist after collaborating with a lot of hits artists? He once did a collaboration with PASCAL, KPANTO, REVOLUTION ROCKY to name few. He was featured on CIC "NO EQUAL" song. He was also featured on the tunes Liberia cypher (trapco genre). Are these not enough reason for Milkyy T to be at the top at this moment? Ok let not waste our time on the collaborations he had. Everyone out here knew he was the only one Young Boss could look up to after Pascal departed for DMG. Now Swag pro have sink because on his misfortune. It's no argument he squandered his opportunities as a young artist. According to source close to him, he is having a divided attentions. You might see this as a hateful article cos we don't get along well but trust me I'm one person that believe in your talent. Get up and make hay while the sun is still shinning.

6. Perimeter

His case is absolutely different from others. The path he choose, to live in the shadow of a well known hits maker(Teddyride) is what keeping him off the spotlights. Unfortunately for him, he will keep living in the dark as long as he keeps following that path. Is not a bad idea to imitates someone but imitating someone who lives in the same country you do live in and have lots of relevance than you is totally radicolus. Perimeter, you need to step out that shadow and prove you are extraordinary.

5. Paradise Queen

One of the two females that makes the list. Themost talkAbout national talent competition winner is with no argument an incredible vocalist. What bothering me is why she haven't been able to stand her ground in the industry. Imagine winning such competition, the country should have been at her finger tip. Like pretty zee, she wasn't able to maintain her spot for even a month. Seriously I don't know her problems but it seems like she is also having a devided attentions.

4. Female General

She is another female that make it to the list. Female General is a perfect dancehall artist everyone will want to see on the stage but unfortunately she have poor pronunciation and her lyrics are weak.

3. King mong

Another talented youngin, two times Johnsonville artist of the year winner. Like Perimeter he too once lived in the shadow of Teddyride. Luckily for him, he discovered his potentials quickly and escaped. Actually King mong case have to do with branding and promotions. The Africa music movement (AMM) front star and his team are facing troubles with how to brand and promotes the artist. I tell you this and it's fosho even real talent still need promos. The branding aspect is also poor. According to our insider, King mong is the most cheapest artist in Johnsonville right now. Anytime you wanna see the nigga, you can see him but that doesn't mean you can book him for shows freely. Like milkyy T, king mong and I don't get along but I'm one of his biggest fan anyway.

2. Vazboy Vazzy

Rebel star entertainment front artist is an exceptional artist in the industry. Sadly for him he have fall short off the glory of bloggers and promoters in Liberia. Am also very much show DJs will follow up due to his pre mature behavior against the pen pushers in the industry. Apart from the insult on the bloggers, the artist don't know how to go about with his branding too; that is very important for any artist.

1. DE RIO THE GAME

What if I tell you this guy started recording music since 2010? It's not like he doesn't have the talent. I can tell you for sure that De Rio is better than Kizzy w, when da singing berney ownpa. His marvelous voice will always reminds you of legendary Senegalese singer (AKON). Lemme say this to you Rio, You aren't not putting in more works, You are just too freaking relax thinking that your deal with Lenz Record will make way for you like the ocean. Can I ask you a question? How many songs have you released since signing your first professional contract last year? I mean no harm but you are the true definition of "YOUNG- OLD LEGEND" Get up mane. If you believe you have talent as a musician, then we do too. I’m a big fan. Hope you get it.
