Have you ever care to know the importance of dj's in the industry? Do you know the role play by a DJ in a specific music industry? Well I am here to tell you. As an artist there is a need for you to create a solid relationship with Disc Jockey. In the music industry, DJ is the first to know about which new artists have a buzz, what songs have no audience reaction and what songs are liked by the audiences. You guys might have listened to them on the radio, in the club or on the street. You might have know them but how well do you know them. Honestly I'm super excited; bringing you the first edition of our DJ'S FEATURES. You know how I do it here on my blog cos it is the same as the Blogger spotlight, producer spotlight, you name it.
I must confess I'm a big fan of this guy and I'm thankful having him as our first guest. Johnson Wallace prefer to be called Prettyboi Wallace was born on March 15 In Liberia. Prettyboi Wallace Attended several schools in Liberia and to name few he attended St. Kizito Catholic school in Monrovia, St. Mark Lutheran and Alexandra A. Andrews Academy in Bong county respectively. He obtained his high school certificate at the Amos T. Taybior Institute and currently he is a student at the African Methodist Episcopal University (AMEU) studying Public Administration and Mass Communication. Like many others provisional disc joker prettyboi Wallace grew the passion for disc joking as a kid in Bong county. Throughout his high school days he served as Director of the Press Club. he Attended the Gbarnga YMCA and according to him there where it all started in 2010. Since then the disc joker have gone on to have a vast working experience as a DJ. In 2010, he served as Child Broadcaster at Gbarnga YMCA. Prettyboi Wallace served in that position for two years before leaving for Radio Gbarnga on an Interim contract between 2012 - 2013. He also worked at Super Bongese Radio as Reporter and Announcer on an interim contract between 2013-2016. Due to his hard work and dedication he signed his first professional contract with King's FM as Reporter between 2016-2017. After honouring his one year contract with King's fm he moved to Radio Five as a Reporter and Announcer between 2017 - 2018. He also served as announcer at Kool 91.9fm between 2018- 2020. According to him, he have also served as correspondence for lot of institutions. Speaking with the Announcer he said he have help lot of people who's today works with various media entities in Liberia, while some of them are currently attending other journalism institutions in the country. Prettyboi Wallace believe he have impacted lot of lives in And out of the country.
Sometimes I feel like resigning my post and focus on another hustle but when I think about the amount of lives I have impacted and others that looks up to me , I just have to keep doing it for them he added. Prettyboi Wallace concluded by saying No matter how far this Radio lifestyle might have take me, I promised to always remain true to myself and continues to impact the lives of many liberians and the world at large.
