My love for the new skull Gospel music is slowly fading away due to the way few of our gospel artists are carrying themselves. I prefer listening to semi gospel music rather than gospel music now. Honestly, I am discourage by the excessive tendency of the present Gospel Music and artists. I don't see the faith in them anymore rather I see an explicit seduction of the world in them; that is not the way it should be. Everyone wants to be we popular, even people that preach the gospel. It's will be a course on me if I just sit here, knowing that someone needs a brain surgery; I got all that is required for the person to undergo the surgery yet I do nothing. I actually love Rich Man new single tagged ANOTHER LEAVE but is he a GOSPEL ARTIST or the OPPOSITE of it?
Wait o, Where did Rich Man get the information that Christ wants him(Rich Man) to help him(Jesus Christ) be relevant in this society? Anyway that not what he actually want. The Lord does not want us to show the world that we are regular people just like everyone else. I thought the people that preach the gospel supposed to be different. How do you expect the world to glorify our Father in heaven by watching so-called Christian leaders, divas, Gospel artists boasting, shopping and chasing clouts here and there. Though Rich Man is the main character in this article but he is not the only one I'm talking about. He is not the only one in the parade of worldly foolishness. Imagine, preachers of the gospel nakedly pursuing fleeting celebrity. This is the blank truth, Rich Man want to be famous, rather than promoting the name, message, kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ.
I listen to his latest Gospel song and I must confess he is a talented artist. Unfortunately, I prefer listening to "PRAYER" by CIC, "AMEN" by Bucky Raw than his. These two songs glorifies the Lord. Have Rich Man digested their unbiblical teachings and reconstruct them in his music. Not only he have fallen in love with the world; even worse, he have fallen in love with Word of Faith theology. The Bible said you body is the temple of God so Why Rich Man is in the constant habit of showing his six packs to the public? Why is he doing it with a woman he haven't taking to the alter? Is he setting an example young Christian should follow? Christians don't just need Gospel Music that proclaims the gospel or reverent, bible-rooted music that will lead worshipers to think deeply about Christ. They also need someone that will teach them good moral. Most of his colleagues uses their social media handle to spread the goodness of the Lord but frustratingly for him, he use his to show the world how romantic his relationship with girlfriend is.
