The turtle moving industry as many have dubbed it is gradually rebranding itself; few top Liberian Artists are flying the flag of the land of returns. In other words, The Liberian Music Industry is no longer what it used to be. The play time is over and most of our top notch musicians are doing all the can to be recognize on the global stage. Unarguably, When it comes to music in Liberia, Kpanto, Kobazzie and Mc caro among others have written their names on the sands of time but who among them is the face of Liberian Music?Note that when we talk about the face of Liberian Music, we talk about that one person the world throw reference to when ever the discussion is about Liberian Music.


Kpanto


The self proclaimed street president who took the street by surprise is not showing sign of slowing down anytime soon as he keep feeding the street with hit after hits. Mid last year November, Kpanto became the first Liberian Artist to bagged six awards at the MTN Liberia Music Award. 2021 was indeed an unforgettable year for the Infront Them Hitman as he won himself the Artist Of The Year awards at both MTN LMA and LEA and also walking away with 13 Awards for work done on in 2021. Kpanto was seen touring the United State of America last year.


MC Caro


The first Liberian female Artist to win the hipco Artist Of The Year is proving that, the ladies got everything it takes to be the Frontliners in the Liberian Music Industry. MC Caro came through the limelight after releasing her "Pro Poor Freestyle" and later unleashed a political song questioning the government about the missing 17billions funds. News circulate that she was arrested Days after Releasing said song. Like Kpanto, MC Caro had a sold out tour in the USA last year. She is the owner of two of the most play songs in Liberia (Fukor& Sidechick cry) from her mind blowing album "King Caro". In a male dominant industry, the"Dudu" hitwoman is proving to be tougher and harder than a rock, Sailing her spot in the Industry.


Kobazzie



The lormaboi is one of Liberia long-term hitmakers. He came through the spotlight in 2017 after Releasing his instant hit single tagged "Sleep For What/Falcao" which spread throughout the country like wildfire. "Sleep For What" happens to be Kobazzie first single. Since releasing his first hit single, the ex Belikon frontman have gone on to add countless hits to his name and also winning multiples awards. If not the most, Kobazzie is one of the most recognize Liberian Artist in the world. In 2019 the Daja Crooner Released his first international collaboration. Featuring African guru Davido on the remix of his popular single dubbed " Bounce". It's no argument, Kobazzie is breaking barriers; linking/collaborating with top African Entertainers with millions of fans like DJ Ecool, Stonebwoy among others. Lately last year he releasing a mind blowing song tagged "Everyday" featuring Stonebwoy from Ghana and Mid this month, pictures of kobazzie and Teni in studio was seen all over the internet. According to Gees Arena insider, both Kobazzie and Teni are working on a joint. It also came in as good news for the music industry in Liberia when Kobazzie link up with DJ Edu for an Exclusive interview on BBC the following day.
