Seeking promotion is the best way to reach more audiences. Hiring top notch bloggers, DJs, promoters may be a great way to go about it; It can be a frustrating experience too. There’s a lot more to hyping, promotions than you might think. Most often, our brothers and sisters in the despora think one person or team is capable of making them reach to the height they wanna reach with the help of their money like in the case of Tamba Hali. I am not denying the fact that a single team can take care of your entire promotions but it's a big risk especially when the people in the team are self centered like in the case of Hot FM. With due respect I prefer the X.O. PROMO to any other promotional team in Liberia. I can tell you for sure you won't regret working with them.
Honestly, I was inspired to write on this after reading an article from one of Liberia finest and hard working Blogger Jeremiah Solari. An article he wrote highlighting why it's better to work with small blogs than the big one as an artist or personality trying to hold a ground in the industry. I'd borrowed few of his points, but I also included some of my own. I will publish it here soon. I recommend you giving it a listening ears especially for the musicians and personalities out there that are using the same path or trying to use the same path as Dede And Tamba Hali.
Radio host, Artist manager, PRO and the CFO of MTN Liberia Music Award, Dede Dalmeida took to her Facebook handle yesterday to Condemned every Liberian top writers she previously worked with in Liberia. She expressed her dissatisfactions and regrets by saying she literally looked for and payed credible writers to do a creative stories for three months and everyone of them brush off.

On the other side, Tamba Hali also did the same. According to sources, he paid the Hot FM family a huge some of money to take care of his promotions in Liberia. Unfortunately for him, he was played and got another thing instead of what he paid for. According to him, he paid for his songs to be played and promoted but guess what? Hot FM only promote leh man paychur lol. It's believed that his name and photos are all in the top notch radio station and the only time they (Hot FM) played his songs was when he was in the country.
Wait, How do we know? News can't hide ba. Oh, Sorry he said it himself. Tamba Hali is sad not for the money he spent cos he understands the hustle rather he is sad cos his songs ain't even played by the radio station all the time he been out of the country and his countrymen can't comply to higher authorities. He made inquiries to all his friends that were in the country and the told him the same thing. "Tamba Hali they na playing your music ooo". The artist is confused and devastated cos he don't know what will happen to him and his music career. Wait o, I na tell y'all say leh man going Nigeria to continue his music career.
