Looking at the definition of INFLUENCE it wasn’t specific weather the word is a negative one or positive, therefore i am save to say you can influence a person/society both the positive and the negative way. A good influencer can change the society for good with the way they carry out information to the public while a bad influencer can do some hefty damage. Who is an influencer? In our world, an influencer is a blogger or social media personality with a lot of influence in their vertical. The record is clear, they are well known for building, breaking and tarnishing the name of top personalities. DANG and EDWIN (PEPPERKALA) are few names that have Fall short under their glory. Awards winning artist Daniel George who goes by the stage name DANG was allegedly accuse of rape by self proclaim first lady of Liberia SWEETZ months ago. Since then, the Liberian influence has been on Dang nick to address the issue that is yet to enter in court. Although the accuser has been silence on the Scandal, yet the INFLUENCE is giving the Afro pop artist no space to breathe. Especially now, that their CEO is one of the strongest advocator to end rape in Liberia. We could have seen more truth in the allegation labeled against DANG if SWEETZ is in the front instead of the background. Can I say this was one of their traps to end his career or THE LIBERIAN INFLUENCE was just ignorance overall case?
Mid last year, the same LIBERIAN INFLUENCE accused award-winning blogger EDWIN of being gay. This was a PEPPER KALA vs. INFLUENCE war. This came after PepperKala boss wrote a story about their CEO dubbed “A NEW LEAF OR A ROTTEN FRUIT, WHICH OF THESE SHOULD WE CALL BENITA UREY?’’ The Liberian Influence wasted no time in replying after seeing that woeful story about their CEO Burey. Their reply only shows another high level of ignorance as they wrote unbelievable story about EDWIN. what is matter right now is “ARE THEY AGAINST LGTB in Liberia or not? Today you will see them posting a member of the LGTB community picture alerting the public to stay away from him/her and the next day they will post another member picture promoting him/her.
